Multi-faceted Marketing Executive & Consultant with unique combined expertise in sales & marketing, technology and petroleum engineering gained through the performance of pioneering leadership roles in both the oilfield services and upstream exploration & production industries.

Graham’s 30 plus years in the industry includes working as a petroleum engineer in various production, completion and well operations roles for BP, along with sales management for the former Aberdeen-based Petroline Wellsystems. Subsequent to this he was with oilfield services provider Weatherford International Inc where he initially assumed product line and technology management positions focused on the company’s completions markets. He then combined his technical and marketing skills to further Weatherford’s market communications, market research, strategy development, and organizational and cultural alignment. His role then focused on developing and implementing strategy that integrated the company’s services in the well construction arena. 

Since his time at Weatherford Graham’s corporate roles have been with start ups. This included Vice President Strategic Marketing at Accudyne Industries, a private equity backed industrial products start-up. Here he formed a new marketing group and led strategy development encompassing product line management, product development, marketing research/analytics and marketing communications. He was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Investor Relations at the private equity backed Silverwell Energy a start-up developer of innovative artificial lift technology. In this role he supported the CEO in a multi-million dollar fund raise. He also implemented coherent sales and marketing strategy, associated working methods and systems resulting in significantly increased sales revenue at significantly improved margin. Most recently he was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Datagration Solutions a private suite backed data analytics SaaS developer. Here Graham orchestrated integrated marketing strategy and associated campaigns with a strong digital focus prior to. Datagration was acquired in 2024.

Since establishing his consulting business in 2013, Graham has served numerous clients in the oilfield services, industrial products, academia and professional service sectors. He has worked independently and collaboratively with B2B communications agencies. He is exceptionally skilled in the development, articulation and execution of business strategies that create differentiated market positioning and accelerate the commercialization of product and service technologies.
